How do I place an ad?
After you have registered for an account, log in with your username and
password. You will be brought to your Profile page. If you have no
changes/updates to your info, go to Place An Ad. You will be asked to
select a category and then fill out the ad information for your ad. Hit
submit after you preview your ad.
Why are some of the dates out of order?
Everyone has the option of having a "Priority Level" on their ad. This
is a paid option that can be selected when you place an ad. For this
reason, some older ads may appear before the newer ads.
What are the
Priority Levels?
Bronze ($5) puts your ad ahead of the non-prioritized ads. Silver ($10) puts
your ad ahead of Bronze and Gold ($20) puts your ad ahead of Silver. When
you renew your ad (up to 3 renewals are allowed) you do not pay again for your
Priority. Priority levels must be selected when you place the ad. If you
decide you want to add a Priority level after your ad is posted, we can do it
for you if you call with your ad number and credit card. 603-497-5849
How
do I add a photo?
Go to EDIT ADS and follow the steps. You will need your ad number, which can be
found inside your ad at the top. It is also emailed to you when you place your
ad. Photos are $10 each and your ad can hold three. You can renew your ad
up to three times and you do not pay again for those photos when you renew.
Photos must be no more than 700x700 pixels and no more than 200kb. If you
need help resizing a photo, send it to us at
info@equinesite.com. We can
resize it and send it back. If you want us to upload it for you, just call
with your payment.
I lost my ad number. How can I find it?
Your ad number is inside your ad at the very top. If you need to find your
ad, enter your username in the search box and your ad(s) will come right up.
Click on "Details" to see the full view of your ad.
I lost my login. How do I get it?
Right next to the login box are little username and password retrieval
links. You will get an automated email with your information.
My login isn't working!!
First, make sure you are using your Classifieds login info and not a login
you have for the BB or EquiChat. Second, make sure you are logging in
with the same case you used to register.
I am logged in and when I try to edit my ad, it says that my ad is not
there. What is going on?
This means that you are logged into an account, but not the one you placed
the ad with. You have to be logged into the account that placed the
ad. This prevents people from altering other people's ads.
Can I
list my website address or an address to a place where people can see a video or
more photos?
The URL field is only activated for the two paid categories (Shopping Mall and
Services Offered). Website addresses may be put in the text area of any ad
IF you have paid for any upgrade in that ad (photo, highlighting,
priority level) or if you are an EquineSite Member (member of our link program).
How do I delete or edit my ad?
Go to EDIT ADS. Here, you can modify, delete and ad photos. If
you happen to be in the full view of your ad, you can delete it or make
edits right there. Inside your ad, on the left are links that read "Modify
This Ad" and "Delete This Ad". Click one. You will be asked to log in.
If editing: scroll down to the editable fields and make changes. The hit the
submit button at the bottom. If deleting, scroll down to the Submit Deletion
button.
I got a notice that my ad will expire in 5 days. How do I renew
my ad?
Please see the previous question, "How do I delete or edit my ad?" to go to the
edit mode. In the edit mode, there is a section to Renew This Ad.
Select the radial button to renew and hit the submit button at the bottom of the
page.
I renewed my ad. How do I get my photo back?
Had you actually renewed your ad, your photo would remain. "Renew" means
to keep your existing ad going for another cycle. You are sent an
automated email 5 days before your ad expires to remind you about your option to
renew. You can renew an ad up to three times. If you have
deleted an ad or let it expire, it is gone. Any ad you place after that is a
different ad, and you will have to pay for a new photo.

I got a
strange inquiry, and I think it is a scam.
If you are unsure about an inquiry, feel free to contact us. We're pretty
good at spotting them. There is nothing we can do to control who responds
to your ad, and scammers always have dead-end emails, so you don't need to
report them to us. If you want to post their response on the Bulletin
Board to help warn others, that would be helpful. If you have received a
check from a scammer, you can call the FBI. The check may help them find
the scammer.
BEWARE of anyone who wants to buy something sight unseen.
For example, someone wants your saddle without seeing photos, someone wants
your horse but says they are too busy to come see him. Another thing to
beware of is the inquiry from someone who won't give you a phone
number! There was one scammer that was actually claiming they
were deaf and that is why they could not give a phone number.

How do I search for something in more than one breed
category?
It's easy. In "Horses for Sale & Lease", try our Power Search feature by
clicking on the little Power Search link under the search box at the top of the
page. All categories have the Advanced and Power Search features to help narrow
your search.
There is no general category for ponies. How do I find all
ponies?
There are a few ways you can do this. One is by entering the word pony
into the search. The other is to select a height range in the Power
Search.

I want to see
the photo, but nothing happens when I click on the camera.
The little camera icon is just there to let you know that the ad has photos, but
it doesn't take you to the photo. Click on the link that reads, "Details"
to view the full ad and any photos.
